Context
Frekans Studio offers sound for sleep, relaxation and focus, and does so under a rule it sets for itself: every piece shows its evidence level, and a session is never presented as stronger than the weakest claim it rests on. The site says it plainly in its own words: “‘It doesn’t work’ and ‘the evidence isn’t sufficient yet’ are different things.” The reader wants to know what can be trusted before listening.

Strategy
Trust is built with evidence, not with tone: every session card carries an evidence-level badge, the evidence library links 35 claims to 196 sources, and sentences follow the certainty language of GRADE and the Cochrane Handbook. The product follows the same principle: no account, no analytics, no advertising, and the sound is generated on the device.

Structure
The homepage opens onto listening: four doors by need (sleep · relax · focus · explore) and a ready session. The library holds 357 sessions; the evidence library, the claims; the guides, brainwave bands and frequencies — each on pages of their own. The sitemap holds 986 URLs across two languages.
ARCHITECTURE
The lines are measured layout: container width and section rhythm are read from the live page, not drawn by hand.
Design
Headlines speak in a thin, narrow voice set in Imbue 300. The measured palette carries a green-leaning black, grey tones and a single mint green. There is no raster image on the page: waves and icons are SVG, and the field that visualizes the sound is built as a still engraving, a 2D canvas or WebGL2 depending on the device.
MATERIAL
Headline typography — the specimen line is measured from the live page’s computed style.

Interaction
Sound never starts on its own; when the listener presses Play it opens softly and never jumps. In the resonance lab bells and bowls are struck by hand, the tuning experiment compares 432 and 440 blind, and the results stay on the device. Nothing on screen flashes more than three times a second; with reduced motion preferred, the field returns to the still engraving.

Lessons
Limiting a claim is the most honest way to strengthen it: at Frekans every session carries the strength of its evidence on its card, and the machine reader finds the same grading in the first lines of llms.txt. A sound site without sound files is the technical side of the same principle: a 724 KB cold load that does not grow with the length of a session.
