Website design in Gaziantep — for manufacturers and exporters.
GAZIANTEP EXPORTS · 2025
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), companies with their registered office in Gaziantep exported 10.15 billion dollars in 2025, placing Gaziantep at number 6 of 81 provinces.
The three largest export categories: Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products (29.5%), Carpets (19.5%), Textiles and Raw Materials (15.1%).
The three largest markets: Iraq (17.3%), USA (10.4%), Syria (6.4%). The languages of those markets are the first input for deciding which languages an export website is built in.

GAZIANTEP · EXPORTER WEBSITES
From the first 30 named manufacturers and exporters registered in Gaziantep on TİM’s 2025 Top 1000 Exporters list, we measured the websites of the 24 firms that have their own site on September 23, 2026. The figures below come from the home pages of the 24 sites that responded:
- Declaring more than one language with hreflang — 10/24
- Enforcing secure connections with HSTS — 6/24
- Carrying structured data (JSON-LD) — 5/24
- Explicitly disallowing AI crawlers in robots.txt — 2/24
- Blocking AI crawlers at the server (while open to ordinary crawlers) — 5/24
- Having an llms.txt file — 3/24
Company names are not published; the global sites of group companies are not counted. The measurement was taken at a single moment from a single location, using only the home page, robots.txt and llms.txt. A site that is multilingual without using hreflang appears monolingual in this measure; the figure is a lower bound. The method is the same as the Measurement Observatory’s.
WEBSITES FOR GAZIANTEP’S INDUSTRY
Arabic websites: right to left, with their own search language
For markets such as Iraq and Syria, the Arabic page is not a translated and mirrored copy of the Turkish page. The right-to-left reading direction affects the whole layout: menu, icons, the position of numbers, form fields. The Arabic text is also written with the terms that market’s buyers search for. The multilingual architecture has to be able to carry this language too; Arabic is one of the seven languages of the Karcem site.
Carpets: heavy images, fast pages
Carpets are sold through images: pattern, color, texture. An image-heavy catalog slows down if it is not built correctly; a slow page loses a buyer in a distant market before the first image appears. Image size, format and loading order are measured as part of the design — site speed optimization. Showing color correctly on screen is a separate job; in the Karcem case, color accuracy was built as a system.
Food and agricultural products: documents and traceability
In exports of cereals, pulses and oilseeds, buyers ask about the product’s origin, analysis certificates and packaging options. When each product family has its own page, with documents shown with their version and date, buyers find what they need without picking up the phone; the same information is visible to search engines at separate addresses.
Textiles and yarn
Textiles and their raw materials are Gaziantep’s third-largest export category. When the technical information buyers look at in this field — yarn count, blend ratio, certification — sits on the page as a table, it becomes comparable and searchable. The general structure of a B2B site: B2B websites.
HOW WE WORK
In every city the process runs through the same four steps: product and document inventory, product architecture, build in the target market’s language, quote flow and measurement. The steps are detailed on the B2B websites page; this page covers only what is specific to the city’s own industry. The studio is in Istanbul and the work runs remotely: the discovery call, drafts and handover proceed through video meetings and written reports.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
How do you work with companies in Gaziantep?
The work runs remotely; meetings are held by video, and drafts and reports are shared in writing. The studio is in Istanbul; on-site meetings are arranged when needed.
-
Do you build Arabic websites?
Yes. Arabic pages are built with a right-to-left layout and with text written for Arabic search demand. We recommend that the final read of the text is done by a native Arabic speaker.
-
Which languages do you need for the Iraqi market?
Iraq’s official languages are Arabic and Kurdish. Arabic is a sufficient start for reaching most buyers; if buyers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq are targeted, a Kurdish page is considered separately. English stands alongside as the common language.
-
How does a carpet catalog stay fast on a website?
Images are produced at the right size and in modern formats, loaded only when they are about to appear on screen, and each image’s space is reserved in advance so the page does not shift. Speed is not measured once and left; it is measured again with every new collection.
